I just did an installation of DNN 4.5.4 on my computer, and got the database set up and everything installed just fine.  However, when I open the DNN solution, I run in to a problem.  All of the projects load fine except for the "http://localhost/dotnetnuke_2/" project.  Visual Studio attempts to convert it to a file system based website, but I didn't think that was supposed to be the case.  My virtual directory is named that and set up to point to the Website folder in it as directed by the installation guide.  My permissions all seem to be set up correctly, but I just can't get this project to load.  Has anyone run in to this issue before, or know of something to check that I may not have thought of?  Thanks.

Try editing the first part of the VS solution supplied file so it is similar to mine as far as filepath is concerned (you will need to adjust it to your path). Works for me anyway.

Microsoft Visual Studio Solution File, Format Version 9.00
# Visual Studio 2005
Project("{E24C65DC-7377-472B-9ABA-BC803B73C61A}") = "D:\...\Website\", "Website\", "{79D3BA0F-F76F-4A84-AE7F-C6A01EC247F9}"
