Ok, started this and had a thought.  Someone please confirm or deny :

  1. DNN only current working Payment Gateway is Paypal? T/F
  2. All PayPal payments are listed as subscriptions - meaning they Auto-renew themselves because PayPal handles it
    1. Therefore my question regarding - notifying Users about a role that is going to expire isn't needed - but does PayPal notify the user about another charge coming?
    2. Is there a way to have the Opposite?  You pay for a Year/Month/Week - and you auto-expire after that time?   Therefore you'd be notified that you're going to expire and have to pay for another Year/Month/Week

Also - I'm noticing that when adding Pay settings for a role - and you don't want a "Trial Fee" is there a way to disable it?  I noticed I can't add a Zero or -1.  Any way to have trial not show?

2. a PayPal doesn't warn - PayPal just charges away. What's worse, if payment fails, PP doesn't tell anything to the vendor. Kinda ridiculous. This adds such a silly pile of extra effort where it shouldn't even be one...

b. Check out Ventrian.com subscription tools

not sure about trial part at all - just never used it.
