I can seem to get the permissions set up correctly in the forums. When I give someone the ability to post in the forums, they seem to also have the ability to edit other posts, even ones they didn't submit. Can someone point out how to set the permissions so a user can create threads and posts, but not go in and edit once it's posted?

You should give the users "Edit" permissions on the module which will allow them to post.  I have a blog about setting up the forum at my site http://www.mitchelsellers.com

Somehow this isn;' working for me. I have given this group Edit permissions on the module, but htey can not create threads or reply to posts. When I give them edit permissions within the Forum administrtion settings, they get the ability to add threads and posts, but can also edit and delete posts.

How does this forum set it's permissions? I only want users to be able to quote and reply, as well as add new threads.
