Hi
Just updated a test site from 4.41 - 4.55
Host and admin logins work but host login does not display host menu.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

Hello,

If you add a space to your web.config and say change the custom error node in your web.config file it will force a reload.

Then you should see your Host Menus.

Do you use Oracle?  Then try GoldFish.Net

Get it from CNET Download.com!

Application must always be restarted after upgrade. Details here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/107/threadid/156273/scope/posts/Default.aspx

Newbie here.

I tried to add a blank to my web.config and save it but I still can't get to my admin page.

Let me give you all some background:

The server that was used to host our production site went down.  The files were then transferrerd to two server, one test and one live.

The test server references a new test db.  The live server references the previous production db.

We can get to the admin page on the test server but not the live.

I copied the web.config file from the test server to the live server and the admin page became available.

That leads me to believe that there is an issue on the backend but I have no idea where to look.
