After upgrading to DNN 4.05.03 I noticed my portal dropped out of the Google listings. I then noticed the title on the home page only displays "User Log In" even though in the settings all titles are set correctly on both the page and on the site settings. When I login the "User Log In" module disappears even if logged in as host, so I cannot edit it, delete it or anything. This is seriously effecting my Google listing and I need to get a fix for this. Can someone help me with this please?

Thanks,

H.

Sorry but I found the answer in another post here >>> http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/139695/scope/posts/Default.aspx

But I might mention that that post says to comment out the lines but does not say to be logged in when you do it so you can then remove the login module from the home page. If you leave those lines commented out then nobody can login to your portal at all. So be logged in as admin or host, then comment the lines out in the mention .vb script, remove the log in module from the home page, then un comment the lines.

Really need a better fix than that because n ot all users of a portal can even find the login link and need a big login box like that on the main page.

Comments?
