Dear dnn-fellows

I've set up a new dnn site 04.05.05.
I've installed the last version of the forum module.
But like everyone knows something can't be done, like setup the images, avatars, the emoticons.
Normally the gallery module has to be included in the core modules (necessary for the forum module). See also the help online...
But there is no gallery in the core modules. You can't set up the gallery module. I've tried it... but with so many errors...

Where have I read that the media module replace the gallery module?...
I've seen that the media module works not together with the forum module. Is this temporarely?
Or is this still the gallery module? But witch version?
In the download section everyone can download a the version 3.1.11 date 2005-12-04. This is a version that runs under asp.net 1.1. (Not said at the download area...). And have so many bugs...

I've seen that James Segers has fixed a lot of bugs. And he offers also a prereleased version of the gallery at his site (Version 04.02.01). (A gallery module that needed asp.net 2.0).  Is it so that this version is a solution for the images and the emoticons for the forum?

 I wonder how the core team has fixed this problem in this forum?...

I'm having so much trouble with the forum. I thought this sftuff was one of the critical improvements of dnn new version but everythings seams to be the same. This gallery and avatars... And also the forum has other bugs like the "ORDER BY items must appear in the select list if SELECT DISTINCT is specified. 0" whenever someone search or try to list "My Posts".

It's going through the release process. Shouldn't take long though.
