Hi,

I would like the administrators in my child portals to be able to assign specific portal users permission to view to specific modules. I'd like to make a view to allow the admins to do this.

So, can the module permissions for users be set somehow (without manually browsing to each module to set them)? I know that I'll make the modules and the pages consistent in all the child portals by applying a DNN portal template. Then, could I build the administrative view to set permissions somehow and reuse it in all of the child portals?

What is the best way to go about this?

Thanks,
Ari

Ari,

You would want to be VERY careful with this however, the values you are looking to set are included in the ModulePermissions table.

I think you could get it setup the way you want fairly simply to give a nice admin interface.  I
