Hello,  I am running a local, clean install of DNN 4.5.5 with IIS7.  Install seemed to go just fine and everything seems to be working except, anytime the application is recompiled (i.e. any change to the web.config or the application has started for the first time that day) mydomain immediately redirects to mydomain/install/underconstruction.htm.   If I change the url to mydomain again it runs as normal.  I have changed Autoupgrade to false as well as useinstallwizard to try and see if it would not try to redirect but the behavior has not changed.

Thank you for you help.
Tyler

Me too. Anyone have any clues? My site's been down for days.

Hi folks, just found it at Chris Hammond's website.

If you're having problems with your DotNetNuke site, mainly every time the site loads the first time (after the site has been reset), going to the install/underconstruction.htm file, here's a quick tip.

Check the VERSIONS table in your database, we were having an issue with this on a recent test site and when I checked the versions table it was completely empty.

I corrected the problem by adding a Version entry for 4.5.3, which is the DNN version that this particular site was running.

I registered my new version of DNN but I still have the same problem.  Randomly redirected to ~/install/underconstruction.htm  .
I've changed that file to include an image that will redirect my visitors to the home page again as a temporary fix.

Please help!
