Why doesn't linkclick.aspx track anything other than files?  Should I write my own LinkClick HttpHandler and replace the one that's included with .NetNuke?

Thanks

Add an announcement, with a URL and check "Track Clicks".  It won't... it only works for files.  I'd like to be able to track clicks on links that aren't files... like urls, pages, and user profiles.

Thanks

Look at lines 90-92 of FileServerHandler.vb please:

If UrlType <> TabType.File Then
URL = Common.Globals.LinkClick(URL, TabId, ModuleId, False)
End

Guess what the last arg is?  It's called "TrackClicks" and when False clicks don't get tracked.

Okay, if anyone cares...

Line 91 of FileServerHandler.vb changes URL from "37" to http://dotnetnuke/SearchResults/tabid/37/Default.aspx.

Both values are needed.  The orignal value "37" is from the querystring "link" value and is needed at line 111
objUrls.UpdateUrlTracking(_portalSettings.PortalId, URL, ModuleId, -1)

The newer assigned value or URL is needed later at line 136
context.Response.Redirect(URL, True)

Anyone up to fixing this problem?
