I need a simple module for managing and displaying listings of services (eg taxis, restaurants, nightclubs etc). It needs be be able to handle multiple categories (and potentially sub-categories), be searchable and have fields for basic stuff like company name, address, phone number, website etc and maybe a picture. Doesn't need to tie into the user account system at all. I could probably do it using some kind of catalog module but I suspect that would be overkill.

I've had a look in the Marketplace and on Snowcovered but I can't find anything to handle this simple task.

Annoyingly I could knock something like this in no time in classic ASP but I'm not a .net coder so unless I just iframe it in a DNN page I need to find a proper module :(

Anyone know of anything that could do this? Is this a job for the User Defined Table module?

Help! ;-)

Definitely try out ventrian.com Property Agent module. The name is very misleading - it should be renamed with more of a classifieds/listings type of name in mind.

Also, you can set it up using DataSprings.com Dynamic Forms module (or any other forms module). I personally never came around to use UDT, so i have no idea if it can handle something like that.

I need a searchable employee directory. Seems like it would have similar functionality to what you are looking for. I haven't found a good solution yet either. Please update this post if you find it.
Thanks

Yes, the Property Agent is very fliexible (badly named though!) - you can se ean example of how I used it to create poker classifieds on PokerDIY.

Judas.. also check the core Repository - Seems to cover what you've listed.

And the other post looking for the employee directory.. check Effority's directory module, recently released.
