I'm getting the error below when I add a Blog entry or Update an existing entry. I have fixed the EditEnry.ascx issue. Any ideas greatly appreciated...

I just had the same problem and found the answer on another site - so here it is for everyone else's benefit
If you are encountering this exception when attempting to Edit or Add a new blog entry in the blog module. Please attempt the solution outlined here.
This exception is caused by an invalid character in the "EditEntry.ascx" control file. This file can be located following this folder path:
[location of your DNN folder]\DesktopModules\Blog\EditEntry.ascx
1) Open the EditEntry.ascx file using Notepad
2) You should find the invalid character on line 21. Look for the string containing "ResourcêKey ".
3) Replace the "ê" with a standard "e".
4) Save the file.
This should correct the error and allow you to Edit or Add new blog entries again.

I am having the same problem, even after fixing the "e" problem. Help would be appreciated.

cbk780,
your problem no longer appears to be with the funky "e". Somehow, the file EditEntry is not pointing to the right place for this file 'SectionHeadControl.ascx'.
My hunch is that you inadvertedly removed the "~" from the control registration directive. Make sure that the src attibute for that control looks like this:
~/controls/SectionHeadControl.ascx
Let me know if that works out for you.
