I have a configuration issue with the RSS feeds that I'm hoping someone can help with.  If I create a standard documents module then syndicate it to an RSS feed, it works perfectly.  I have the RSS feed module set to connect to the RSS.aspx URL for an external source.  The RSS feed is dynamically updated when documents are added or removed from the documents module.    Now for the issue....

I want to do a documents module that is only viewable to registered or subcription members to the site, but if I set the permissions on the module to view only by registered or subcribers (removing the All Users).  It will break the RSS Feed.  Without All Users in the permission list to view the site the RSS feed shows no documents.  As soon as I add the All Users back to the permission list, the documents appear in my RSS feed.

Does the RSS require Annoynomous access, therefore requiring all users? I have tried some RSS feed reader programs that will allow you to enter a username/password, but this doesn't work either.  I would really like to be able to RSS feed a syndicated document library that only certain people could access.

Any ideas?  All help is greatly appreciated.

Yes if you do not have all users with permissions to the module the RSS feed will not populate.

RSS feeds are available to anyone so the module permissions must mimick that to be added to the feed.
