Hi!

I'm using DNN 4.5.3. When trying to add a Logo to a Vendor at Host > Vendors, I can't!

The message is:

You don't have permission to see the files on the site

No matter if I'm logged in with my user (which is a host user also), Admin or Host!

Can somebody help me please?

P.S: I've check the permissions at Admin > File Manager and they're correctly set up, even my user is explicitly with View and Write permissions

I had this happen on a child portal I created and it's like there must have been just the slightest glitch in the creation side of things - as i had created about 40 child portals and not one of them had that error - except this particular child portal. I couldn't even add an icon, change the logo, upload a logo or anything - it had that error, and the only way I could get around it was to delete that portal and redo it again and it was fixed.. but that was a child portal, not a full website so I'm not sure how you're going to fix that - except I can tell you that I have experienced that once too.

I guess an upgrade might be worth thinking about - maybe that could help.

This error is caused by permissions not set on File Manager (for the site). Make sure to set permissions to the correct Role - if you want everyone to see files, then select All Users.

Thanks Nina! I still trying to find out what's wrong.

Is there already a new version of DNN?
