Hello all,

I looked and did a search but couldn't find anything about it. I just set up a dotnetnuke site internal to my company and we want to be able to see it externally as well. Are there any ports I need to open to allow this?

I did a test index.html file and my port forwarding works to there. When I go to default.aspx it seems like it connects but then after a short time it comes back with a page not found error.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Matt

Welp nevermind... I added the external IP to the portal alias list and it now works. Had done that before but I guess it took my network a little bit of time to sync that up.

You need to add a portal alias for your external ip or url.

You can do this by logging in as host and going to site settings.

At the VERY bottom you will see the portal aliases.
