Hi everyone,

Recently I have discovered that the size of my DB is huge (400 MB/10 portals). After doing some investigation, I found that some tables of the database had several hundreds of thousands of records. Those being the Site Log and the Scheduler Histoy ones. Afterwards I also found that the scheduler procedures to clean this tables is disabled by default. So, I turned them on.

The problem is that it always gives me a "TimeOut" error on both procedures. Does somebody know why this is? Is there anybody having the same problem?

Thanks

I'm having the same problem exactly as you described it. I upgraded to dnn 4.5.5 about a week ago and my event log has over 35,000 events in it and it seems like the events are the same, or they keep repeating. I enabled the DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog.PurgeLogBuffer in the sceduler. But it keeps Timeout expired and failing. Seems like this event was working fine until I upgraded and it was enabled by default. Not sure about that though. I can list the description of the error if needs be. Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
