Hello Everyone,

I'm working on a website and am trying to take it to the next level, the functionality is so one sided at the moment, and nothing is dynamic, I know DNN will make it great.

Only problem is the confusion I have between Content Management and Community Portal. Which is DNN? I know it can be both, but right now I can see DNN more of a group tool where you can have user groups have different access rights, and only a few people can edit pages.

Here's what I'm trying to accomplish:
1. Having a community Portal
2. Each community user has their own space (directory under the root)
3. Each user can post photo galleries, blogs, have a main page, etc.

What do I need to do to make this happen? I've looked at different modules such as:
- MyProfile.
- Ultra Media Gallery

I like the features each add to the bunch, but without being sure what DNN starts off with I can't really grasp where to get started.

My Profile seems to be a great tool for me to integrate so that users can have their own directories.

and ultra media gallery seems like the perfect tool to get a community going where users can post flickr RSS feeds etc...

I'm really excited with all the features available with DNN out of the box, and maybe I should start there.

Could anyone help me understand all this?

Better yet, would anyone like to drop me a chatline so that we can have a more live communication process going on?
