Hi

I just tried DNN 4.5.5 on Safari 3 Beta for Windows (yes you heard right). and it works great apart from one problem
Unfortunately the FCK Editor does not work properly.

You can type, but the toolbars do not display at all, and if you toggle between basic text box and rich text editor you will lose all of your text. Also it does not work at all under the messageboard when you start a new thread and hit update, but I think here the FCKEditor is at fault.

Or is it? Maybe there is something missing in the Safai browser here? Perhaps people could try it out themselves and post their own conclusions here.

Safari is a cool browser I suggest everybody try it!

Thanks!

Alex

Update, looks like we have similar behaviour with Opera 9.22. I also forgot I logged this issue in gemini.

FCK does not support Safari currently, I believe they have made some progress on it, but you can find more details on the fck site.

According to the FCK site you can enable opera support by adding the link EnableOpera = true but where in blazes do you place that within the FCK provider... I've been looking but I can't seem to see any reference.
