I don't seem to be able to find where to change the default text color for the site. I want to change the color of the word next to the search box, the login and the breadcrumbs. Is there a place in the skin where I change this once. I don't see something to change each one individually in the skinning document.

The name of the classes defining these skin objects are found in skin.xml. and the css for these classes in skin.css.

to see example pick up the default skin or a good free skins.

Kind regards

Salar,

I understand where these things are found but how does it work. I don't understand what is indicated in the xml and what is indicated in the css. and how to tell one to use the other.

I attempted setting the color to white in the css class that describes the cells that the login and copyright, etc. items are in. It works in dreamweaver but not in dnn. Where do I set the color, in the xml or in the css.

I have the dnn skinning pdf and i am looking at the supplied templates and still do not see it.

Thanks to anyone who can explain more indepth. I really appreciate the expertise for a newbie like me.

Ann
