Everytime I try to create a child portal I get the message: "The Child Portal Name You Specified Already Exists. Please Choose A Different Child Portal Name." I've tried every possible combination for the Portal Alias and it just won't work.

This must be a bug of some sort, I have read the long thread where people were receiving a "Cannot create Portal" message; I'm able to create a parent portal fine, just not a child portal.

Any ideas or updates? I'm version 04.05.03

Thanks.

Anyone? This has to be some sort of bug that someone else has come across...

That usually means that you are trying to create a child portal with the same name as a folder this already located in your DNN install.

Check your DNN install folder to see if that sub-folder is already there.
