I tried the Starter kit here, saw the forum posts on the Blog_03.03.00 problem and corrected for it up front.  Unusually the build did not automatically kick off the 'Install Wizard' so I started it manually.  Checks went OK and it got to work, then stopped with the message

'Installing Database - Version 4.4.0...Upgrading Database to Version ERROR: See c:\inetpub\wwwroot\sandBox\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\04.04.00.log for more information...FAILURE 400 - Conversion from string "ERROR: See c:inetpubwwwrootsandB" to type 'Integer' is not valid.

SandBox being the name of the portal.  The Logs were empty . 

I dropped down to 4.5.4 and it installed straight away.  I'm using SQL Server 2005 on Win 2003.

I'm going into production with sites developed on 4.5.3, and was anxious to use 4.5.5, being the latest 'stabilization release' .  Am I wise?  4.4.4 was superceded so quickly by 4.4.5 I'm concerned it might be 'buggy'.

I am getting the same error: Installing Database - Version 4.4.0...Upgrading Database to Version ERROR: See D:\Domains\brazda.ba\wwwroot\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\04.04.00.log for more information...FAILURE 400 - Conversion from string "ERROR: See D:Domains\brazda" to type 'Integer' is not valid.

What could it be?

I found a solution...This thing happens only when you chose custom installation; when i decided to go with automatic everything was fine and problem with blog 3.03.01 dissapears becouse you have to install blog manually. Now i have a fully functional dnn site ver. 4.5.5...

Yes, I to have the same problem when installing a new DNN site (version 4.5.5) on our hosting account.  Weird thing is the site worked fine in the dev enviroment.

 

Can someone please help us both out with this one?
