Hello guys,

We are thinking about upgrading our portal that is using DNN 322 to the latest

version of DNN.

We are using SQL 2000 and ASP.NET 1.1.

We would like to switch to SQL 2005.

Does anyone know the right order for the upgrade?

Thanks

I suggest to upgrade in 2 steps: first to 3.3.7 and second to current 4.5.5

for an upgrade procedure see: http://www.deutschnetnuke.de/tabid/186/Default.aspx

I agree with the above about the two step upgrade.  I also have a tutorial on upgrades at my site.

in regards to the db change I would either do that FIRST before any upgrades, or AFTER the fully successful upgrade.  I wouldn't throw that in as another unknown in the middle of an upgrade!

Additionally to all earlier written contributions, don't forget to install ASP 2.0 or higher. It's a premise for DNN 4.x.
