I found the problem source

in the table PortalAlias the column HTTPAlias had value www.portal.am/acs_portal/install (I dont know why this happened) so I changed it to www.portal.am/acs_portal , buty now the website is redirecting back and forward and got into the endless loop.

Any ideas?

I am having the same 'endless loop' problem.  Please post here if you find solution and/or email me at timothy.hardin(at)gmail.com -- my site is hosed until i can figure this out...

Well, for others who may have the problem, it was somewhat simple...

Somewhere in the update process default.aspx got replaced with another default.aspx that just screwed things up.  So, once I realized that the default.aspx which was on the server was not the default.aspx which I downloaded from DNN, I ftp'ed it and it worked immediately.

Hope that helps!

Tim
