Hi,

I'm writing a small webservice which should serve the rendered modules inside a specific pane.
The problem I came across is, that the RenderControl-Method for the control needs a Page and it's not possible to set a new instance of the Page-Object, because then RenderControl fails due to the lack of a "<"form runat="server"">"-tag.
Is there a possibility to disable the check for this tag or set the tag in a new file and load this file via a method?

cheers, david

David,

I am not 100% sure that I know what you are trying to do?  Are you trying to render HTML source in a webservice and return it as a string to your users via the webservice response?  If that is the case I am not sure if you can even do that as it would defeat the use of a server side control...
