Funny (if not to say critical) problem has arisen after I upgraded the installation on my server to from 4.5.3 to 4.5.5.

The Host account is NO LONGER  recognized as the Host, only as the administrator.

The funny thiong, the account can log on to all the portals using the same username and password, the the User is also displayed as the "Portal Host" (the display name I created for the host-user).

So, what do I do now? Can I manually set that user to be the Host account by using some kind of script in SQL Management Studio?

If I roll back the database, I'll get issues with some modules, since they we're created in 4.5.5 development, and they got an error on the 4.3.5 installation...

So, any help will be greatly appreciated.

most likely, only the hostmenu vanished, try to restart app by doing  a minor tweak in web.config and saving it.

if this does not solve the issue, check the user account in Users table and make sure, the superuser flag is enabled.

Ok, I can do that, but what "minor tweak" are you referring to?

I can restart the IIS completely, will that be sufficient?

"minor tweaks" means e.g. adding a blank to a comment, so you can save the web.config and ASP.Net notfies, it has been changed.

IISReset (restarting IIS) will cover this as well.
