Stefan,

For a second I felt like a complete fool, and that it'd been in the options all along  - until I realised we're at cross purposes.  You answered the previous guy's comment to my post about "username", which is clearly available. I'm the author of the original post, and I'm after moduleID.

It's an old thread so no worries - I've not been able to get to forum for a while, but if there are plans to include moduleid then please let me know.

Cheers

Oliver

Oliver,

now I feel also like a fool. ModuleID is indeed missing. The next version of the parameter editor will be a rewrite and be based on the PropertyAccess extentions for TokenReplace. - so yes, ModuleID will be part of the next release.

Stefan

I'm involved in a piece of development that will make heavy use of the iframe going forward.  Can you confirm when the next release with the module id is likely to be?  Also regarding token replace, I take it the principle of making the values available to pass in the querystring will remain, and that if we upgrade from our current iframe, where we utilise portalid, tabid, and userid  parameters and send those to the querystring, that the module would continue to function as now.

Thanks again

Oliver

Good news: I ported IFrame to 4.x some days ago and added Module id and current locale as possible sources. It is still the old parameter editor. It will be compatible to the current iframe and a smooth update.

Whenever the parameter editor is rewritten using tokenreplace, this it is not a reason (or exuse) for a breaking change.

Please provide me your email adress and I will send you a beta version the next days.
