I've created a series of modules that are tightly coupled which I want to install using 1 zip file.  In creating the manifest, I've gone ahead and configured separate <module> sections for each.  However, after I run the install, only the folder name is listed as a module to be added in the control pane.  If I add that to a page, it then adds each module which I configured to the page.  I'm sure this is expected behaviour.  However, I would like to see each of my modules available separately in that drop down list.  How do I achieve that?  I'm sure this isn't an uncommon request, however I can't seem to find any information on it anywhere.

You might get a better response to this over in the Extend It forum...
