On one of my child portals I have a strange glitch. A user can sign up, add photos, data, etc. when the user signs in again. Everything seems normal until you try to access another page. Then the user gets kicked off the site and is then presented with the sign in screen again.

Luckily, this does not happen with the admin or host account.

Has anyone seen this before?

This happens all the time when a 3rd party module uses an external page and doesn't include the portalid or the tabid on the querystring.

Without the portal id or the tabid on the qs the user's auth cookie will be deleted by DotNetNuke since it can't determine what exact portal the user is authenticated in.

Thanks John!

I do have a profile module that I just installed. What do you feel is the best way to remedy this issue?

I would contact the developer and let them know that all pages that are used need to have portalid or tabid on the querystring.
