I followed exactly, as instructed, the fix.  Now I get this error.  Any help is appreciated.

You probably deleted the Runat="Server" on that control (or somewhere else).

I suggest you start over instead of searching for the problem.

Antonio,

Thanks for the suggestion, I took it and uninstalled the blog module and then reinstalled.  Corrected the 'e' problem on the EditEntry page, set up my blogs again and still got the same error.  Can you give me any other suggestions on what may be causing this error?  I am sure I did not delete a runat in the code.

AFAIR there was another issue with curly quotes in previous DotNetNuke versions, I suggest to upgrade to latest version of the framework.
