Ok, I'm new to DNN; however have past web design experience.  I was hired on with a company right in the middle of a project using DNN.  I really need a Messages module and a todo/task list module.  I purchased MyMessages from dotnetnuke.com; however it doens't have an option to add attachments.  I also found two todo/task list modules on the net; however neither one of them allowed for each user to have their own list, it was just one list for everybody and that won't work.  Can anybody please give me help in the right direction with this, I really need it!!!  Thanks in advance!!!

Welcome to DNN Jordon,

For a Tasks module, check out the UDT module. You can set it up however you need and the module has additional role permission that lets you set individual user permissions for:

  1. Edit Row
  2. Create New Row, and
  3. Delete Row

For a message module I like www.swirlhost.com however it doesn't have attachments either unfortunately.

Check out UDT 3.4.0, released today. you can now filter display, showing only the items of the current user and limit permission, so that each user is able to edit his own items only. you can completely customize the display of items using XSL.

Thank you all, I have been success with the UDT for the todo list, it works great.  Still in need of the email that allows for attachment and also want to give the users a list of users they can send an email to without having to click search or anything.  Does anybody know if XMOD might do this or if there is something else that I could do this with.

Thanks,
Jordon Shaw
