Is there a way to migrate the forum data (posts etc) to a phpbb2 forum? Exporting the data to a csv and process it from there doesn't work for the posts table, because it has special characters and non printables.

Any ideas?

I have witnessed migrations from PHPBB to DNN FOrums, so I am sure that you can do it on the way back, but you might have to do a direct SQL Connection to to the updates.

so, using PHP to connect to the SQL database, take out the data, and insert it in to the phpBB tables?
