DNN Version:4.5.5

it was set up that the users have no right to edit the page but they have the right edit the module,because they need to modifed the data in the view page,when all the edit option was disabled the top banner(Mode: View,Edit) will be hide,but if the edit option of the module was turn on,the top banner was displayed,i don't think it is a good interface to the client, i prefer to switch the status in the program,anybody has idea, thanks!

There are options to set the way the Control Panel displays under "Site Settings > Usability Settings" which may be helpful to you.

i modified the option,but the question still exist,the option is:

Inline Edit Enabled: NO

Control Panel Mode: Edit

Control Panel Visibility: Minimized

Control Panel Security: Page Editors

i am sorry i can't upload the captured screen

in the fact the requirement is the top banner is only displayed when the user is a superuser or in an adminstrators group,otherwise it will not display,could you give me some help, thanks!

thanks for your help,i visited your blog.

this question is seem much more like a bug than a confirguration question,hope the banner will be remove in the next version.
