Hi,
we have a large database of over 1100 pages and everytime we try and upgrade form 4.5.0 to 4.5.5 we lose the host menu,
we have tryed incremental upgrades eg.

4.5.0 to 4.5.1 to 4.5.3 to 4.5.5 but we still lose the host menu...

is there a successful way to upgrade to 4.5.5 without destroying anything?

Thanks in advance

Beau mifsud

also, each page we load takes about 5 - 10 minutes to add, is this normal after having so many pages?

All you need to do is restart the application after upgrade.  I always stop the App Pool, stop IIS and then restart them after an upgrade.

As Philip mentioned a restart of the application is all that is needed to get the host menu back.  if you do not have full access to IIS you can trigger the restart by simply adding a space to a non-critical portion of your web.config and saving it.  That will cycle the application.

As for your time to add a page, that is a bit long I would think.  I know it does take longer as you get more pages, but I believe that is a little on the extreme.
