I have my site log setup to retain information for 30 days (set in both the Host & Admin spots) and enabled.  The problem is the log is only saving 1 day worth of data.  There is a scheduled purge of the log that occurs nightly.  I assumed this should purge entries that are over 30 days.

I know I haven't provided much info, but I don't have much to go on.  There are no entries in the event viewer.

I am running DNN 4.5.5 with two parent portals on a shared hosting server.

Thanks,

Michael

A quick look at your site indicates that it may be hosted at PowerDNN. If this is the case, then their optimizer was the problem for me. Tony has a tool that optimizes sites by truncating logs, creating indexes etc. to speed up the sites. I didn't know that he was doing this an I spent days working on the same issue.!  I require 30 days of site log in order to be able to see what customers datasheets have been accessed by viewers.

PowerDNN nolonger optimizes my database.
