We predominantly use MS Ajax for AJAX (there is some usage of Jon Hennings clientAPI - which is being rewritten to use MS Ajax for a future version), which has protection built in for common AJAX issues. Scott guthrie details some of this at http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2007/04/04/json-hijacking-and-how-asp-net-ajax-1-0-mitigates-these-attacks.aspx . In addition we built protection against the common target of XSS attacks into the core, I blogged the details of this @ http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/256/Default.aspx

Thanks Cathal,

It's good to see security discussions from time to time.  It's comforting to know that people like you are watching out for the rest of the DNN Community.  This give me a lot more confidence when recommending DNN to clients.

Thanks again.
