Anyone care to share their Active Forums experience?

I'd like to use this module, but i'm wondering if something's up with them. I've attempted to ask several pre-sales-type questions on their forums and have yet to see anything posted. The first was nearly 24 hours ago.

Obviously, this concerns me since I'm a potential customer and want to give them my money. Are they quick to respond after you pay? What if a code issue develops?

I hesitate to even ask, but they're not exactly cheap... Do they have some other way of being contacted?

Thanks in advance.

I never used their forums that I recall. So can't say anything about that level of support.

However I did contact them via email, and had a email exchange with them. Each email I sent them (3) were replied to within 24 hrs. I would suggest you use that route to get a quicker reply. and they did solve the issue in my initial contact.

I do want to mention, as a point of fact, their latest s/w ver now uses a WinXP-esque server activation process. Once you install your key it 'calls home' and assigns itself to that DNN install. If you uninstall and reinstall you need to contact them to reset your activation code. The previous ver I bought, 6 months ago did not have such so this did take me by surprise when I upgraded last month.

But if that does not bother you it is, as a whole, a great product and have positive things to say about their email support. There are a few features that I had in the PHP forum world I'd like to see in it, but thats another topic.

Thanks. I'll try to find an email for them then. It's been 24 hours now. (tapping foot impatiently)

I personally use them for my site (http://www.mitchelsellers.com) and I have to say I am very impressed.

I would also recommend the e-mail option for support as that does seem to be a bit faster but they did reply to all of my requests via the forums, including my bug reports that I provided as well.

Also, if you have a look on my blog I actually have a review out there about their module and my impressions of how it works.
