Deleted time zone property then updated - doh!

On a busy 4.41 site I was struggling with a profile problem and decided to delete the time zone property in an attempt to rule it in or out of the now forgotten issue.
What I also forgot was to put it back afterwards.

I recently updated this site to 4.55 with no problem but:
When installing and using anything that checks for this property some strange errors / failure occur.
This came to light when using the versatile Ventrain Articles module. In fact Scott did a build to work around this TZ lookup (Thanks again) but some problems remain.

My question is about how to resolve the problem.
I did try remaking the TZ property but, as in 4.55 it cannot now be deleted, maybe it cannot be put back in this way.

It is not really possible to go back to the old DB as there have been too many changes.

Hope someone knows how to fix this . .

 Thanks in advance
