I would like to disable the help ability in my events module or at least change the text of the module help. I'm referring to the help a user sees when he/she clicks on the Help icon.  I don't know how to disable it (or if that's even an option). If disabling it isn't possible, where is the text located so that I can edit it.  I've placed the text below that I'm trying to change.  Thanks in advance for any replies.

DotNetNuke Events Module

Welcome to the Calendar Module for DotNetNuke 3 (please use DNN 3.0.13 or above).  The Calendar is a flexible module that support:

  • Month, Week and Detail View
  • Moderated or Un-moderated Events and Enrollment
  • Recurring Events: Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Annually
  • Security roles for anonymous, editor (can create and edit their own events), moderators (can edit/delete/moderate all events), administrators (all rights)
  • Multiple Calendars on a Page or Site with the ability to roll-up sub-calendars.  This is a powerful feature that supports individual, department, and division views of events.
  • Separate, related List Calendar module that will show events from a selected calendar in a list view
  • Enrollment for events, including either paid (PayPal) or free (optionally moderated) enrollment
  • Calendar view customization via the module.css style sheet

Once the Calendar module is installed, simply add and instance to a page.  Then, select the "Admin Options" to setup the Calendar.

After the Calendar is setup,  simply select a date on the Calendar by pressing the Day number in the calendar.  Focus will switch to that date.  Then, if you have editor permission, select "Add Event" from the module menu.  This will open the "Edit Event" form.  You will then minimally enter the Start and End Date-Time for the Event (events may span multiple days), a Short Description of the Event, and the Detailed Notes for the event.  Optionally, if enabled, you may select an image for the event, the category and location (if setup), the recurrence for the event (daily, weekly, etc.) and the recurrence end date, and enrollment options (if enabled).

To view a Calendar Event, simply select the event in the Calendar or the link in the detail view below the calendar.  If you wish, you can select the "Week View" at the top of the Calendar in order to display the selected Week's events.

If you a registered, you can select the "My Enrollments" option to display events you have enrolled in.  Selecting a Detail Event view permits you to signup or enroll, if you are registered and are in the correct role.

Moderator or Administrator roles may select "Moderate Events" to approve/disapprove events and enrollment requests (if enabled).  Also Moderator or Administrator roles may update Categories and Locations by selecting the "Edit Categories" or "Edit Locations" options on the module menu.

All the text is stored XML files in the App_LocalResources directory with the .resx  extension .  Do a search for the text you want to replace to find the exact file name.
