I have gotten lock out of a clients web site, therefore i have locked them out too. I read ALL the forums and tried all the said tricks and none have worked. i am completely locked out. So, my next step would be a complete re-install? I;ve never used doynetnuke before and have never had to re-install. Where do I start. I do need to save anything off the old site it was just getting started. Please! someone give me a real answer. A link, anything!

thank you...

Can you register for an account? If so just create a new user and then go into the DB and set that user as a super user. Of course you could just go into the DB and unlock your account, well unless you changed the key and then you'll either need to restore it or try step one. I'm assuming I know what you mean when you say locked out because this is a little vague as to exactly what happened

If you can register an account, you can copy the new password to any existing user to get back in as well.  I have a step by step tutorial for this including all needed SQL on my blog http://www.mitchelsellers.com
