Please help. I set up a site and now Im trying to work with the roles and add a role that will just have the ability to edit a page not delete etc... even better I'd like the person who has edit rights to just see the site without the tool editor and only be able to edit content. Is there any way to do this without touching the code? Thanks for the help.

The only way I think you can do this is to add the modules to the page, that you want these users to have admin rights to and then click 'module settings' and give edit roles to the module only.  It is a bit of work as you have to do one by one, but it will stop anyone from being able to add pages - they won't even see the control panel, but they will, when they log in, be able to see the pencil and edit settings on the modules you have given them permission to manage.

They cannot add extra modules to the page though. So this limits their ability.

Hope this helps.

I thought this version was suppose to come with a page editor role and also a content editor role. Is there any way to add these roles?
