I am trying to make a module that will allow a use to apply for membership (something like registration, but custome).  Well, when trying to click on a simple <asp:button..> click event, it doesn't fire, in fact no events on the page fires.  Now, only time it fires is if I am logged in as host and in edit mode...if I am in anonymous or view mode as host, it won't fire.  Is there anything I need to do to allow events to be fired.

I've got the same problems.  A simple custom module with a button and some checkboxes.  Events and control view state seem to only work in Edit mode, but don't work when in View mode, or not logged in as the host.   Anyone know what's going on.

Had the same problem a few days ago. Don't know what caused it, but removing the module, and then reinstalling it with cache set to 0 solved it for me.

Thanks!  Setting the cache property to 0 also resolved it for me.
