hi guys

       i want the admin user to be not able to add any new module ( he shouldn't to be able to view the control panel at all).he can just modify(edit) the available modules.

      how can i do this?

Hey - we aren't all guys here!

Why not create a new user role called say "Content Editor" and add the person to that role. Then on each module you wish the Content Editor to be able to edit, go to  Settings and set the Permissions to Edit for the Content Editor role.

They will still be able to see a cut down version of the Control Panel, but it will only offer the View or Edit mode too which enables them to preview their work.

However this solutions doesn't give them access to the Admin pages either - but then if you don't want them adding pages this is a good thing right1

One more comment is the Content Editor can still upload images to the File Manager using a module such as the links module. You may like to create a separate folder in the File Manager and set the permissions to Write To Folder to the Content Editor role.
