Hi

I have been reading various threads on this topic but not found anything that solves my problem yet, so here goes my question:

I am trying to setup a new Parent Portal to a DNN installation (Lets call it www.siteB.com) where there is currently allready one Portal runnning (Lets call it www.siteA.com).

I have setup host headers in iis to catch www.siteB.com, when i try this in a browser this works (i get the Home page for www.siteA.com).)

I then create a new portal in the DNN portals interface called www.siteB.com, Now when I try it I am expecting to get the home page of www.siteB.com, but I still get the Home page for www.siteA.com)

I suspect that my DNN installation is a bit "non-standard", so that might be the reason - but I dont know how to fix it without destroying siteA.

Prior to me installing DNN and creating www.siteA.com on the server, siteA allready existed in static html incarnation, so I installed DNN in a separate directory, and created a virtual directory in IIIS under the old www.siteA.com pointing to the DNN installation, then I setup a redirect in IIS to point to the Vitual directory.

I have tried pointing the old www.siteA.com application in IIS to the DNN install but I get a acces denied errror when I try to view the site In a browser, and the site is live so I'd like to know what I am doing before I break anything:-)

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Tomas

Hi Again

Just to let you know that I solved the problem myself. My hunch was correct, it was my nonstandard IIS setup of DNN who was the culprit, but after a bit of messing around I solved it and it works like a charm

Cheers

Tomas
