Help!

While testing options to optimize my performance, I used the Host Settings -> Performance Settings page to turn on memory caching, compression, and whitespace Filter. But now I have HORRIBLE cacheing problems, to the extent that I can not logout (since it just re-loads the cached page), or even turn off the caching (since it won't seem to postback properly).

My question is: Is there a web.config or database or other configuration method that I can use to re-set these options back to "default" settings??? I've rendered my site unusable!

Well, after a few hours of broser-cache-clearing-and-restarting, server-cache-clearing, application-restarting, IIS-WebApp-restarting, and all combinations above, nothing seemed to work so I left it for the night.

Today, things are more sane, and I was able to turn off the caching as required using the normal Host Settings page, which earlier would never save my changes.

What happened? I don't know. How was it fixed? I don't know. I just thought I'd post this update for posterity ;)
