Hi,

Allow a user, given the proper privileges, the ability to add events at the Parent portal level and let those events cascade down to all OR a selected few child portals.

Something like this:
If Portal has child-portals, Cascade Event? Yes/No
If yes then show a list of child-portals to select from.
The child-portal list can be limited based on the user's privileges and role AND if those child-portals actually have the Events module added.

As for the technicalities, I've tried opening the Webcontrols solution and cannot get it to behave as there seem to be too many issues. References out of wack, methods missing etc etc. That is in VS2003. It needs a full conversion to VS2005. All takes time and I don't have enough to tackle this right now.

Anyway, I'm sure others can comment on this suggestion.

Cheers
