Hi,

 

I've just upgraded a working 4.5.5 website to 4.6.0 and now it's dead.

Can anyone help with the error message please?

It's a known issue.

Just turn on the whitespace filter option.

I've seen someone say you don't need it if you have compression on.

Thanks blairst.

I forgot that I'd commented out the compression module line in web.config and needed to do the same in the upgraded one. Must see how I can get this to work one day when I don't have much to do.

Um, silly question:

Since the site does not load, how do I turn on the whitespace filter?? (and besides, I thought I had it on already before the upgrade...)
