I've just upgraded my site to 4.6. Now everytime a user registers they get an error.

An error has occurred.
Error: Preferred User Information is currently unavailable.

Anyone else getting this issue. I was runnign 4.5.5 and it was running perfect.

Get the same error, but still running 4.5.5

Registering users get the error but they are registered.

Cannot delete a user anymore, either.

Help from anyone is much appreciated.

Hi,

I tracked it down to sending a mail on a new user registration to the portal administrator. A similiar mail is sent when a user is deleted which is what you're getting.

A workaround is to remove the user information from the admin templates which are sent when these events are fired.

So find the user registration and delte user registration emails in the language template edited and remove all the [Profile:xxxx] tags. It's not ideal but it should work until we get a fix.
