Hi all,

I'm new to DNN and GoDaddy. I have DNN 04.05.03 installed, which is what Godaddy has linked up from Metropolis. Should I upgrade to 04.06.00? If so, what's teh rpocess. The Host Admin settings only tell me IF there is an upgrade availabe. As far as i can see., it doesn't actually provide an upgrade function, like the individual modules do,. I asked GoDaddy about this and they said they can't support the upgrade process.

Soooo, does anyone have advice on this?  I am also going to upgrade a client's DNN 4.5.3 to 4.6.2, and unfortunately they have chosen Godaddy as their web host and won't reconsider that choice at this point in time.   I have not dealt with GoDaddy hosting before this, never would have considered it compared to the competitors with much better value hosting.  After seeing the FLOOD of GoDaddy related problems with DNN the thought of upgrading or doing anything with it is intimidating to say the least.  If it were my own site I'd just do it and deal with the aftermath, but it's for a client and I'd rather do it right the first time and not have to learn from my mistakes, anyone out there willing to teach from their past problems with GoDaddy?
