Ok, this is weird. I installed DNN 3.2.2 on my home computer and got it working with the database on my hosted account. Everything was working fine. So, in VS .NET 2003, I went to Project, Copy Project, and copied up all the files needed to run the application. They copied up OK, but I also need to copy up the Providers directory manually. Now, that I have everything copied up, though, when I try to hit the site, the URL redirects to my home computer! I have searched and searched, but I can’t seem to find a file that causes this to happen. Any suggestions??

you need to add your website as another portal alias. Log in as host, and go to site settings, scroll to the bottom and add your website as a portal alias. I'd also recommend that you FTP up your files, as the copy project function of vs.net 2003 skips certian files such as .resx which are needed for the portal to function.

Cathal,

Thank you very much for the response!! You were quite correct; I did make the update and it definetly helped.

I got past that error and now have one more.

I don't suppose you might have any idea what this might be, would you?
