Hi,

Using the AD provider under 4.6.2, I see that if a user logs out and then logs in again they get the choice of 'Standard Login' or 'Windows Login'.

I know that if I turn off DNN authentication it removes the 'Standard Login' button and switches to Windows Login but I cannot then log in as host.

My users will not want to see both buttons . It will confuse them. They will only want 'Windows login' and I am reluctant to alter the source (when it becomes available)

So is there any way to allow host activity somehow  if I turn off 'DNN authentication e.g. Can I make my domain user a host?

Actually you do have the source for the login screen as the providers are inserted into the wrapper. It's under (admin/Authentication).

However, yes you can make your domain user a Host. The easiest way is to find your user in the Users table of the database and change IsSuperUser from a 0 to a 1.

To be honest, I wouldn't want to change the source code but being able to make certain users host gets around the issue.
