I want to set up multiple portals for a single user account.  I see that there isn't an admin UI to do this (that I'm aware of) through DNN but, for now, I was able to manually insert a new record in the DNN dbo.UserPortals table where one userID is associated with two portalIDs.  This works fine.  I can log into the different portals with that same username and password and when I click on the My Account page for that user the account information is displayed.  The problem is this.  If I'm in portal2 and change something in my profile property, example, middle name and then log into portal1 and check the profile property the change isn't there and vice versa.  In the dbo.UserProfile table there is only a reference to the UserID which is the same for both portals,  so I am not sure why it is displaying the information based on the portal that I changed it in.  Any ideas?

Ok, in case anyone else was interested in help with this question I thought I would post what I found.

Although the dbo.UserProfile table references UserID and not portalID the PropertyDefinitionID is associated with the dbo.PropertyDefinition table.  This is where each profile property is tied to a unique PortalID.  Bascially profile properties like FirstName, Timezone, etc. are duplicated for each Portal with a unique PropertyDefinitonID and therefore when a User makes a modification it is tied to that definition and, consequently, the portal the change was made in.
